My name is Lana Mihaiyu and I’m a postpartum doula + certified lactation counselor, and am here to help families thrive in their new roles and celebrate tiny victories.

My approach to postpartum support is parent-centered, as this is a time for deep care, rest, nourishment, and replenishment for the new mother. It’s time to normalize the need for help!

I provide evidence-based guidance, hands-on help, and encouragement so that parents can make confident, informed decisions as they adjust to life w/ a newborn. Inspired by traditional wisdom and the concept of food therapy, I enjoy meal prepping for clients and focus on comforting, nutrient-dense dishes to optimize recovery, restore energy, and support lactation. I am passionate about promoting the health of families through breastfeeding education and personalized support.

My journey to motherhood had a significant impact on me. The combination of fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, cesarean birth, and postpartum anxiety, and the support required to navigate those experiences inspired my passion for maternal health. I’ve since decided to invest in learning all I can about postpartum wellness, newborn care, and lactation.

My goals are to normalize the need for postpartum support and promote equity in maternal & infant health.

Postpartum support packages range from $30 – $50 per hour

4-hour min per session and minimum investment of 12 hours of postpartum support.

I offer payment plan options and military discount, as needed.
