Nobody tells you the rage part

Everyone talks about sadness. Nobody mentioned the flashes of pure rage over the dishwasher being loaded wrong. It passes in ten minutes and then I feel awful. Is this a known thing or just me?

'Anxiety wearing a different coat' has rearranged something in my head. Thank you.

The dishwasher specifically. Every time. I thought it was just me and my husband's inability to stack a bowl.

Known, common, and worth mentioning to someone — not because you're in trouble, but because rage is one of the presentations that gets missed precisely because everyone's watching for tears.

It's a very known thing and it's barely talked about. Postpartum rage is real and it's often anxiety wearing a different coat.
