Building a registry and drowning — what did you actually use?
Due in May and the registry checklists all want me to add 200 items. I want the honest version: what did you genuinely use every single day, and what's still in the box? Especially interested in what you'd skip.

Whatever you do, don't buy the whole newborn wardrobe. Mine was in 0-3 by three weeks and I had tags still on things.

Skip the changing table. We changed both of ours on a mat on the floor for two years.

Used daily: muslins (more than you think), a decent carrier, and a cheap sound machine. Still in the box: wipe warmer, bottle sterilizer, and the entire concept of newborn shoes.
