Anyone else's baby suddenly refusing the bottle at 4 months
She took a bottle happily from about 8 weeks. I go back to work in six weeks and now she screams at it like I've betrayed her. Same bottle, same milk, same everything. What on earth changed?

Update: husband gave it, I went to the shops, she took 4oz without blinking. I'm delighted and slightly insulted.

She can absolutely smell you from the next room. Go for a walk. Genuinely.

Out of the house entirely is interesting. I've been standing in the next room like a lunatic.

IBCLC here — bottle refusal around this age is really common and usually not about the bottle. Try someone else offering it while you're out of the house entirely, and offer before she's properly hungry rather than when she's already upset. If it's still going in a couple of weeks, get someone to watch a feed.
