A postpartum mom needs snacks to help replenish her energy, aid in recovery, and support breastfeeding. After childbirth, a woman’s body undergoes significant changes as it heals and adjusts back to its pre-pregnancy state, which requires ample nutrients. Healthy snacks provide a quick, easy source of these nutrients, particularly when new mothers may be too busy or tired to prepare full meals. Furthermore, if breastfeeding, a mother requires additional calories—typically about 500 extra per day—to maintain her milk supply and nourish her baby.
Protein-rich, fiber-rich, and nutrient-dense snacks can help meet these increased nutritional needs, support overall health, and provide much-needed energy for the demanding tasks of newborn care.
In response to the incredible feedback and tremendous support from our expanding network of parents, we have made the decision to transition our product focus from supporting parents working from home to a product that caters to postpartum mothers. The insights and experiences shared by our users have highlighted the unique challenges and needs that arise during this transformative phase.
Mother Muna will host resources tailored to the needs of mothers, as well as a platform build mother-centered registries and direct access to care provider services.
We are thrilled to embark on this new direction and would love for you to join us.
