Vanessa started her work out helping pregnant moms as a massage therapist in 1996 in SW Pennsylvania. In 2004 she was invited to attend her first birth for a laboring massage client in South Carolina.
In 2005 with the birth of her nephew she realized there was a real need for better birth choices on the Grand Strand. Thus began a 10 year journey from 2007-2017 in assisting several home birth and birth center midwives all over the state. Through the hundreds of births attended and tutelage of several senior midwives, Vanessa has honed her skills to provide compassionate quality care to those who choose to solicit her services.
