Postpartum Support Groups in Santa Barbara

Feb 26, 2024

PEP (Postpartum Education for Parents)

Our mission is to support growing families in the Santa Barbara area with opportunities for education, encouragement, and social engagement in a way that is non‐judgmental, inclusive, and community‐based.

Whether this is your first baby or your third, meeting other people going through the same stage of parenting at the same time forges deep bonds. We have PEP Groups that continue to meet on a weekly basis for years, even through second generations!

We’re thrilled when we see friendships form that last a lifetime.

ou do not have to wait until a new group starts to join us. New parents are welcome to come whenever you are ready. We look forward to meeting you and your family. Please note: Babies in arms are, of course, welcome, but unfortunately our space does not allow for older children or siblings to join.

New Parent Group Meetings are every Thursday from 10AM – 12 NOON

Centerline Community

Centerline is a support community for new moms. We provide community and educational events, virtual support groups, and an online membership all in the name of providing support, education, connection and empowerment for mothers.

Our north star: Support. Without. Judgement. Centerline is a community for all moms. We are all about meeting each other where we are at, no matter how different our journeys may look. We believe that all moms deserve support and that we are stronger together. You are not in this alone.

Earth Milk Moon

The pregnancy and postpartum journey is not meant to be done alone, yet it can feel so lonely for many.
According to the wisdom from cultures and traditions who center mothers, in order to fully heal after birth, community support is essential. This can look different for everyone but for many mothers postpartum support groups are an opportunity to check in with yourself, connect with other mothers, to be witnessed in the mess and magic of motherhood and feel less alone.

Bring a blanket and your baby. We encourage you to come if you are pregnant as well! Link in bio to sign up!

A special thanks to the giving circle members who generously gave in order to make this possible.
