A Note About Supporting My Sister During Labor and Delivery

Being there for my sister and brother-in-law was an experience I’ll never forget. It was an honor to support them while she labored, hold her while she delivered, cut the umbilical cord when baby was safe in mama’s arms, and witness my nephew’s first breaths.

Women’s bodies are truly magical.

Birthworkers who are called to do this work are truly incredible.

Thank you, sis and bro, for letting me be a part of your journey into motherhood. I’m so proud of you ❤️
